Another Day of Making Money on the Web

It’s not often that I take the time to talk about daily earnings. One of the main reasons being that it’s time consuming and it also varies day to day by quite a bit. All in all it’s usually not worth the time to post earnings, but every once in a while I’ll post just to give myself and others more motivation to get out there and get on making money on the web.

Today was a bit of a slow day but I still pulled off a nice $151.85 for the day. Not amazing, but not bad either. What some people fail to realize is that with making money online, it’s not just a 5 day work week. You are able to make money 7 days a week regardless if you work every day or not.

So if you make $150 a day 7 days a week that equates to $1,050 a week or $4,200. Now, for many people that’s a pretty nice income. And, honestly, $150 a day is fairly easy to do.

There are many guys out there making $1,000+ a day. I’ve personally see a few guys hit a bit over $10,000 in a single day. Doesn’t sound real, does it? All I can say is that it is.

Making money online is much different than working a typical job. You’re not confined to a set salary or one revenue stream. I personally have multiple sources that I pull in money with online. I have multiple accounts that accumulate cash regularly for me.

Many people assume it to be impossible to make $1000s online and even more assume you can never hit 5 figure incomes in a single month. I can tell you that it isn’t impossible at all. I’ve come somewhat close myself. One month not that long ago I hit just over $7,000.

It’s very possible to make some serious cash online.

Just check out these two posts that I’ve made about the amount I have made online in just 8 months time:

10 Ways to Make Extra Money

Once in a while we all get to the point where we need a few extra bucks to pay off a bill or maybe just purchase a desired item. And a lot of the time we can’t think of how to pull in the extra cash to do so. In this article I will show you ten ways that you can make a little extra money. And a few of the listed ways can be used over and over to continuously rake in extra money whenever you put in the time.

10 Ways to Make Money on the Side:

1. Hold A Garage or Yard Sale – This is a very simple concept. All you have to do is get together personal belongings that you no longer have use for, slap a price tag on them, advertise your upcoming sale and then collect the cash. Depending on how much stuff you have to sale and/or the quality of items you are selling you can easily pull off a few hundred dollars in just a day. Use your local newspaper, Craigslist, and post signs around your neighborhood to alert others of your sale.

2. Sell on eBay – Selling on eBay has exploded over the years. It’s a very simple process and can often pull in more profit than if you were to pawn off unwanted items or even hold a yard sale. One downfall to using eBay, though, is the fact that they have increased fees quite a bit the past few years. Listings aren’t exactly very cheap. And you can’t always to expect to make a sale the first time you put your items on eBay. But there have been many who have made eBay into a very profitable online business.

3. Sell Handmade Products – If you have a knack for hand crafting products you may want to give Etsy.com a spin. Many people have made a decent income with Etsy. If your products become popular you could easily turn this into a business and keep bringing in profits for as long as you want. Fees on Etsy are very managable. It doesn’t cost nearly as much to sell on Etsy

as it does services like eBay.

4. Write Articles Online – If you’re well versed and knowledgeable in specific topics or have an entertaining viewpoint on said topics you can find a good amount of success and revenue writing articles for pay. There are many services available online that will pay you for your articles. Some will pay a set amount up front for articles and others will pay you for every view your articles receives (this is the best option). A few sites that offer compensation for your writing are: Associated Content, HubPages, and Squidoo.

5. Paid Surveys – A lot of people see the words “paid surveys” and start running. It’s a common misconception that all paid survey programs are scams, but there are a few diamonds in the rough. A select few paid survey services actually DO pay. It’s easy many, too. Most surveys take around 10 minutes to complete. A few will take longer, but you can generally expect to spend around 10 minutes when completing a survey. The pay varies quite a bit, but most commonly stays around the $2-$5 range. A couple trustworthy sites to check out for paid surveys are OpinionOutpost and CashCrate.

6. Freelance Work – Freelance work includes a variety of different income sources. You can find freelance work writing blog posts as a guest poster, design websites, design logos and graphics, or even just answer phones. To find more information on this I suggest you head over to GoFreelance.com.

7. Sell Your Pictures – If you’re a skilled photographer you have a chance to make a good amount of money simply selling your photos to stock photo sites. Typically you’re paid for every download your photos receive. This can add up quickly. And if your photos are original and easy on the eyes, you can quickly rack up downloads. DeviantArt is a good place to start.

8. Sell Used Books – Have a library of dusty books laying around? You can easily turn it into a pile of cash. BlueRectangle will buy back your old books and text books. They pay pretty well, too. I sent in 8 books that I haven’t touched in months and got $43 in my PayPal account out of the deal. Not bad at all. And don’t worry, shipping is free. You will print a label that acts as postage.

9. Sell Used Cell Phones – If you have a collection of old cell phones that you think have absolutely no value anymore, you might want to check out SellYourCell.com. They accept over 500 models of cell phones and will pay you cash for them. No questions asked. It’s a simple 3 step process and can put extra money in your pocket.

10. Make Money Blogging – Blogging has become one of the most popular and one of the most profitable forms of online media. There are bloggers making full time incomes from their blogs. A few select bloggers even pull in a six figure salary with their blogs. That doesn’t mean it’s easy. Building up a successful blog takes time, consistency, and the will to keep going. If you have patience, blogging can become a large income source. Using ad services like Google AdSense makes it easy to earn a few extra bucks even on a personal blog. Making money online with blogs is pretty easy.

That’s it! I hope these ideas help you out in making some extra cash. If you have an idea for making some extra bucks that you don’t see listed here, leave a comment and tell us what it is!

Building An Online Reputation

For years now many have noticed that quite a few people have made a name for themselves via the world of the internet.

From young teens discovering success with viral videos on popular sites like Youtube to people of all ages achieving full-time, hearty incomes via blogging, the internet has quickly become a vital tool for those seeking notoriety and success making money on the web.

I’ve noticed on many occasions during my random web surfing that loads of people are trying to duplicate the success of others by literally copying their ideas to attempt to achieve the same popularity and wealth.

But is there success to be found in being a copy-cat? I’d have to say no.

This particular article is being written to encourage readers to be creative, fresh and innovative. Sure, you can take some one else’s idea and build upon it, but don’t copy it word for word, video for video and expect to see anything come of it. It doesn’t work that way.

There are some solid ways to increase your presence online as being unique and I’m going to share a few with you now.

First off let’s take a look at a few basic, but crucial, keys to building a positive online reputation.

These basics are:

  • Being Original
  • Being Creative
  • Being Consistent
  • Being Timely

These four points are probably the best rules of thumb to LIVE BY online. Let’s take a look at each one in further detail..

Being Original

This is by far the most important point of the four mentioned above. If you don’t learn anything else from this article, REMEMBER THIS.

Being original, or unique, is crucial to finding true success in making money on the web and also to keeping your viewer or reader’s interest in you or your website.

This especially applies to making money online with blogs.

Most people know what they are looking for and if they land on your website and see the exact same content they’ve seen a hundred times before on other pages they’ve been on before you can bet your sweet ass they’ll make use of their web browser’s back button!

Before you even sit down to write a post or article, upload a video or publish a photo of anything you need to go ahead and do a thorough search on the topic it’s related to.

Visit the links you see on the first page of the search results and compare their content to yours. Take not of similarities, differences and think of ways that you can provide more for the reader than they already have.

Remember, be unique. If you really want to build an online empire, you have to be better than the other guys. And in order to accomplish that you have to study your competition.

This leads smoothly into the next point on the list…

Being Creative

O.K., you have your topic or basic content picked out, now what?

Jazz it up by being creative.

As I mentioned earlier, analyze the search results you found that are relevant to the content that you’re about to publish. Really take notes on how it is presented, the mood it sets for you and even how the graphical or text content is placed on the page.

These may seem like tiny details to pay attention to but they could very well be the things that you can improve to provide better content for readers with.

Now that you’ve broken the content down think of ways that you can present your content differently. Ask a friend or relative to review it. See if they feel that it’s attractive, interesting and inviting.

And if you don’t tell them that the content is something you’ve created this proves to be a much better test as you will get a much more honest response from them when they aren’t thinking about if they’ll hurt your feelings or not!

Being Consistent

This is another major point that you need to follow. When I first started blogging and writing articles I fell short in this area and this is a lesson that I quickly learned and went on to perfect and prosper from.

You can post a single video or article and get lucky and manage to receive thousands upon thousands of hits on it but eventually that traffic will die off.

In order to keep an interested audience you need to consistently produce quality, relevant content tailored to their interests.

For bloggers this generally means posting articles three to four times a week, sometimes more. For those who produce videos or podcasts it can be once or twice a week that will keep viewers coming back for more.

As mentioned before, I didn’t do this the right way when I first started but now that I am following these very guidelines I have increased my readership by more than 5 times normal. That’s a significant increase for a simple change.

Consistency is powerful.

Finally the last point to building a successful, online reputation:

Being Timely

Being timely is something that will have your readers drooling in anticipation awaiting your next piece of content.

What does it mean to be timely?

Being timely means being one of the first to produce content on a particular subject, usually a new trend or information that hasn’t been addressed much yet.

This isn’t an easy task to say the least. It requires a lot of time and effort in research to pull this off. One thing that I’ve found to be very helpful is to keep up with the current trends and news that are relevant to your site’s content.

So, if you author a blog about dancing, keep with “hot”, relevant news like who the current top dancers on popular T.V. shows like “So You Think You Can Dance” are.

Being on the first to present breaking or current news in your niche can dramatically improve your website traffic and get your website name to places you can’t even begin to imagine.

KEEP UP WITH YOUR TOPIC.

Making Money Online with Blogs

Over time, blogging (the creation of weblogs) has become increasingly popular and now blogs are the single most common type of website that can be found on the internet.

Many people have made personal blogs to express their thoughts and feelings while many others have created blogs to provide information on a specific topic.

Blogging is easy, fun and it can provide a great source of income if done right. There are several people who make loads of cash via blogs, including Problogger’s Darren Rowse who pulls in a six figure salary every year via his blogs.

Making money online with blogs, as mentioned, is fairly easy. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to setup and get going but the results make it worth the while.

If you have a knack for writing, this can be a great way to start making money on the web.

Want to know how to get started making money online with blogs?

You can easily create a free blog in a matter of minutes. Just visit any one of these websites and register a free account to get started quickly:

While grabbing a blog from one of the above sites is a easy and free way to get going with blogging, it’s always highly recommended that you get your own domain name to host rather than using free blogs.

It’s proven that having your own domain works better for earning money with a blog. So instead of having a site like “yoursitename.wordpress.com” you would have “yoursitename.com”.

It not only looks more professional but it does have a huge impact on how much money you’ll actually make using blogs. If you want to go ahead and grab your own domain and hosting, we recommend using this web host:

We’ve been with 1&1 for about 3 years now and we’ve never experienced any website down time or have had any other issues with them at all. They are top notch and provide great customer service as well.

Massive $1,150.90 Made in ONE Day

Hey guys & gals,

I wanted to make a post about this because it not only serves as a massive inspiration but it will also give a bit of guidance as well. Keep in mind that what I’m about to tell you is not a typical day for me, but there are people who pull this off and more each and every day doing the very same stuff that I do.

Yesterday I made $1,150.90 online.

O.K., obviously that’s quite a large number to be made in just one day, but it happened. This income came from a combination of promoting affiliate products and flipping a website.

For those of you who don’t know what “flipping a website” means…

Flipping a website means you build a website up, earn some revenue with it (i.e. affiliate products, adsense, etc) and then sell the website off to someone for a few months worth of revenue.

The one I sold yesterday was bought for about 5 months worth of revenue. The website was only 3 months old and there wasn’t a lot of work put into it, either.

I made a cool $1,000 selling it. And then the $150.90 came from affiliate product sales. Combined, I earned $1,150.90.

Now, is it impossible to maintain $1,000+ a day working online? No, it isn’t. In fact, there are quite a few people out there doing the very same thing I’m doing online and pulling in upwards of $10,000+ a day. It’s not impossible, but it takes time and work to make those kind of figures.

Making money on the web takes dedication and persistence in order to make a real income with it. It’s just like a regular job. You have to work at it to get anywhere. But you are in charge of your time and how much you make, not some other company.

Benefits of Working from Home

Many people have given the idea of working from home a bit of thought but not many actually go through the process or really thinking about all the benefits of working from home there are.

A lot of people don’t even know what the benefits are due to the fact that they’ve never had thepleasure of having a job that allowed them to work from home.

Making money on the web is a hugely satisfying and massively beneficial job. And we’re going to go over some main reasons why working from home easily beats the heat of a typical 9 to 5 job.

Benefits of Working from Home

1. No Schedule to Follow:

To many this is one of the most outstanding aspects of working from home. You are no longer chained to a set time frame. There are no schedules to follow. You work when you want to work and for how long you want to. You are completely in charge of your time.

If one day you feel like you’d rather hit the town or beach with friends than get some work done, you can do that. If you don’t want to wake up until 1 in the afternoon every day, you can do that, too. You are no longer confined to being controlled by schedules and alarm clocks. You make your work schedule.

2. Tax Benefits:

Working at home turns your normal family home into an office. This means that you can deduct normal house expenses. You can also deduct travel and local transportation expenses. Other deductions include software, books, subscriptions, telephone services, insurance and retirement plans. You can even deduct against the depreciation of your home.

3. Financial Independence:

Just as you are in charge of how and when you work, you are also in charge of your income. You decide how much you want to make and then work toward that amount accordingly.

If you just want to make an extra $200-$500 a month working part-time, you can easily do that. If you want to make $2,000-$5,000 a month working full-time, you can work toward that as well. Your income is solely dependent on the amount of time and work that you want to put into it.

4. Less Stress:

It’s no secret that loads of people hate their jobs and are stressed daily by them. This is often because of heavy work schedules, dealing with unruly people, being pressured by bosses and many other things that are commonly found in a 9 to 5 workplace.

Working from home provides you with peace and comfort of working in your own home without all the ridiculous stress factors that you find working elsewhere.

Why People Fear “Make Money Online”

The Fear of Making Money on the Web

It’s no secret that millions of people believe that pretty much anything you see online is a complete scam. This especially applies to the “make money online” sector of the internet. Those three words almost immediately strike a sense of fear into the minds of many.

Why do people fear the “make money online” niche?

For years the internet has been slammed with ads, websites, blogs, social profiles, social communities and many other things with promotions of products, guides, and tips on “how to make money online”. And many people jump on board and buy everything related to those words.

But, over time, people have become very hesitant about getting involved with anything that has to do with “making money online”.

Why?

Because, unfortunately, many people have gone out and bought several products that claim to explain “how to make money online” and haven’t seen anything come of the guides they buy.

Sadly, though, many people buy these guides, give them a try for anywhere between a day and two weeks, don’t see any results and then give up on the idea of making money online and assume the product they bought was a scam because it didn’t work for them.

This is what is destroying the idea of having an online job.

While there are a few books and products out there that are obvious scams (remember the “Get Paid by Posting Links on Google” guides?) but many of them aren’t. But the fact that people are lazy and don’t take the necessary action and time to actually see results from the information leads them to believe these products are scams because they didn’t see results in a shot time period.

That is one thing you CAN NOT do when it comes to starting out making money on the web. It takes time to get things going. But when they do start going, it takes off.

For instance, my first day I got lucky and made $40 right away. That is NOT a typical result. That was a stroke of luck. But it did give me the motivation to push harder and get more going with it.

And believe me, if you put in the time and effort, you WILL see results. Just yesterday I pulled in just over $300. That’s in ONE day.

CPA Marketing – A New Venture

For the past couple of weeks I’ve been looking into a few ways of making money on the web that I haven’t really explored too much. One of those is called CPA (cost per action) marketing.

For those of you who don’t know what it is, you’ve probably been a victim of CPA marketing without even knowing it. Ever seen an ad that has an offer for a “free trial” of a product? Or have you ever had to take a survey to get something on a website (like on Facebook games such as Farmville)?

Both of these things are forms of CPA marketing. An advertiser gets an ad or incentive offer in front of you and you have to sign up for something, usually something free, and as soon as you submit your information that advertiser gets paid anywhere between $1 and $100 (usually).

CPA marketing is a powerful way to make some cash online. And it’s really not hard either.

I gave CPA a whirl using the techniques that I outline in my Facebook Marketing Guide that I posted about not too long ago. The results weren’t bad at all. I managed to bank about $180 across 3 days.

Here’s the proof: (click on the images to make them bigger and easier to read)

Day 1-

Day 2 -

Day 3 -

As you can see I made a pretty decent amount of cash in a very short period of time. CPA isn’t hard at all and it’s actually explained in detail in my Facebook Marketing Guide. I’m going to be working with CPA much more in the future and I will let you guys in on any more secrets that I find in it.
