Video Game Tester Jobs

The video game industry is one that has exploded over the past few years with the release of consoles like the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii which have been dominating the market for a while. Gaming has become much more than just a free-time hobby lately. There are national championships and players get paid big bucks to play games. Another way just about anyone can get in on making money on the web with games is by taking on video game tester jobs. 

Game testers get paid to do…well..test games. Video game developers need outside opinions on their upcoming to releases to make sure that they will appeal to the general public and sometimes to catch glitches that they missed themselves.

How well does it pay?

Well, when you’re first starting out you can expect to earn around $30 an hour but after just a few initial jobs you can be earning upwards to $50 an hour. And yes, it’s legit. We tested it ourselves on a couple “jobs”. It was pretty easy and fun and it did pay. We ended up doing a “job” for about 4 hours and received a $119 check not too long after.

The hard part is finding jobs. But there is a course available that reveals how and where to grab these game tester jobs. It makes easy work of finding companies that are willing to pay you to play games.

The course is known as National GameTesters.

It was developed by a college student who is making some serious cash while in school using video game tester jobs. The course goes over everything from how and where to find jobs to what you should expect companies to want from you during a job. It’s really a great resource and we find the information to be easy to follow and well organized.

You can easily make $100+ a day doing this if you put the time into it. It’s not hard and it’s actually very fun considering it’s a job testing video games.
